Mr S K Narvar is the Chairman of Capital India Corp. (CIC).
CIC is the promoter entity of Capital India Finance Ltd (a BSE listed systematically important Non-Banking Finance Company), Capital India Home Loans (an affordable housing finance company), RemitX (a tech-enabled cross-border remittance player), RapiPay (one of India’s leading fintech payment and money-transfer start-ups working towards digital financial inclusion), Credenc (education loan and ecosystem fintech entity – 3rd largest in India) and Kuants (an investment platform).
A first-generation business leader, Mr Narvar possesses an astute vision and entrepreneurial acumen. He steers the business group with a key focus on financial services and the infrastructure sector. He is also a venture investor in his personal capacity, supporting start- ups that are disrupting India’s consumption opportunity through mobile and digital interventions.
He believes that financial inclusion and infrastructure development are essential to empower communities and boost the country’s development. An advocate of India’s economic superpower potential, Mr Narvar recognises that the country’s strong performance is buoyed by factors such as a well-educated workforce, young demographic and pro-growth policies.
